This was one of my portfolio pieces, but I feel that it belongs with the rest of my work now that I am updating and revising my website. The emblem turned out being quite easy to make and just took time to tweak it till I was happy.Most of the emblem was based off this video. Occasionally I will find a Photoshop tutorial on YouTube and use it to practice achieving effects that I have no previous experience with.

For the web effect, use the polygon tool and change it to have six sides.Make one, then duplicate till you have enough to cover the area you want it for.Experiment with the blending options to achieve the desired look.These are all the iterations I went through to get to the final product.Click on any of the images to download the psd file to experiment with.
