Who am I?
I am a self-taught programmer from Campbell River, BC. My first brush with programming was in sixth grade and I’ve never looked back. I recently completed a Game Design course at the Vancouver Film School.
What do I do?
I am a hardcore gamer and I love to see my work come to life in a way people can interact with it. Through my years I’ve worked with ActionScript (Flash), C++, C#, PHP, JavaScript, Java, HTML, and my very first language, BASIC. I have experience setting up and managing servers, both for web hosting and as a backend for games.
Why do I do it?
I have a deep passion for games and programming. I always jump at the chance to learn how to use a new programming language to expand my knowledge. I strive to not just add to the cookie cutter games out there but to innovate and take gaming in new directions.
What else?
I am a techie and a hockey junkie. I spent my time as a kid destoying computers and as such I’ve built up a large troubleshooting and repair index in my head. Rather than cause destruction, I now build computers as a hobby of mine.
What now?
Fullfill my lifelong dream of being an entrepreneur and buisness owner and expand my knowledge of programming. Planning to start with CSS, HTML5, and being the best C++ programmer there is.
